Lacrosse Boys Giving Back

More supplies are needed at our local Food Pantry

In keeping with the traditions and values of lacrosse our boys provided much needed help in restocking the Food Pantry located at 116th & Brooks School Road in the Parks & Recreations building. Although many items were donated by the community there is still a need for more donations.  The most needed items are jelly, applesauce, canned oranges, instant oatmeal, pop tarts, syrup, dish washing soap and laundry detergent. Please consider dropping off a donation during normal business hours of the Parks & Recreation Office, 8:30-4:30, Monday through Friday except holidays.

A very special thank you to our youth and high school players that gave their time to a great cause today.

Thanks Garret Holst!

A special thanks to Garret Holst for taking the time to hang with our youth players Sunday the 7th.  Garret shared many lacrosse stories from playing for HSE to playing D1 for the Denver Pioneers and provided an inside look at the importance academics and attitude play in getting recruited.   Two lucky players won his Denver Pioneers Helmet and gloves he donated to be raffled.

Thanks again, Garret.  Good times were had by all.

We will be cheering you on in the Spring!
